THE EARLY BREWERIES OF CLEVELAND
For several centuries, Cleveland has been home to a variety
of breweries. Many of the old names from these breweries are
familiar such as Gehrin, Leisy, Standard, Gund and, of course,
Schlather (now known as the Great Lakes Brewery). These
early brewers made a fine product that was in demand, but
