Listen to the interesting presentation on the history of the Painesville Depot and railroads that served the Painesville area.  The first Painesville station was built in 1850 and was replaced with the current brick and sandstone station in 1893.  In the last four years, $60,000 has been spent on its resortation with 100% volunteers doing the work!
